It was in the sixties when D. Rafael acquired six mares, all of them "cartujanas", buying them to D. Luis Miguel Romero, inherited from his father D. Antonio Miguel Romero, who had acquired them to D. Alfonso Nogales and Nogales, Viscount of the Montesina.

D. Alfonso Nogales, bought to Domínguez brothers, owners then of the two brands of the twitch, twelve mares and a horse that he marked with the brand of letter N.

Nowadays, Rafael Conde Stud has fifteen mares PRE, all of them of the brand of his proprietor, being some of them from the third generation of its own brand.

The breeding animals have been chosen from the old Deposits of breeding horses, after a careful study of its origin, morphology and movements. This way we have an almost common line with Military Stud  Twitch with animals like  Fetiche, Reberte, Tebeo, with Fernández-Daza like Visigodo II, Apetecido ó Elegido IV and breeding horses like Señorío II o Danzarín XI. Nowadays, in order to reinforce the functionality of the animals of this Stud it covers with Danzarín and Novelero, from the brand of D. Salvador Sánchez Barbudo.
